Thread: When you get dressed...

For the socks, it depends which side is worn out and then I put it on that foot (that way they last longer). For the trousers, I have no idea.

I don't remember. I don't pay enough attention to the way I get dressed in the morning. I'm lucky that I show up at school with pants on.

Everything starts with the right for me. even when I put on my shirt my right arm is in first.

Shirt, pants - right leg first, socks - right foot first, shoes - right foot first.

After RCing I went to put my socks and pants on. The socks went onto the left foot first, then the right foot, but I feel like they could've gone either way. On the other hand, I started to put my pants on and found my right leg was through. Then, I tried taking that leg out and putting my left leg in first. I nearly fell over. It felt completely unnatural.

One thing I do know is that I cannot put pants on without my socks being on first it TOTALLY weirds me out, but that's more of a learned association.

I'm right handed, if you've got any research or hypotheses on this.
When it's not fresh on my mind I'll try to figure out if I usually do the socks that way.
I'm pretty sure I usually put my shoes on with my left foot first. I can't recall the order but I know that if I pick up one, I'll put it back down just so that I can put the other one on first, unless I'm in a huge hurry.

Hmmm... most curious. I usually don't wear socks, but when I do, I tend to put my right one on first. And I usually wear long skirts, but when I wear shorts or pants, I tend to put my right leg through first.
For my shirt, it all depends on which arm hole shows up first lol But for jackets and the likes, I tend to put my right arm through first.
I'm right handed.
Oh.. and as for shoes, I almost always wear sandals. I always step into the right one first.

I don't remember. And I'm already dressed, so I'll have to wait 'til later.

This makes me think that maybe I should pay more attention to my life in general...

I'm not certain but I think I do left on both.

Right foot sock, right foot under-pantalones, right foot trousers, right sleeve jacket, right foot shoe, left sleeve shirt.

Poor lonely left sleeve shirt.

Interesting thread, but i put both legs in at the same time with my pants. As for socks, left one always goes first.

Ok! I figured it out! It's left everything. Left sock, pant leg, shoe, shirt sleeve, whatever.

I was originally left-handed but was forced by my parents to write with my right hand after a certain age.

I still kick with my left foot, though.

HAhaha. I just had an image of someone trying to put pants on like that while standing. I guess you always have to be sitting down, then.

Left for everything. Pants, skirt, shirt, jacket, gloves, et cetera. I'm right handed though.

I use right for everything, and I am right handed. Go figure.

Where's the option for "I don't wear pants."?
