I feel bad for really really un-attractive, in other words ugly ass people who have acting talent but can't get big because they lack the self confidence and are just plain fugly.

Need examples of "really really un-attractive".

There's not many people out there that, with a visual redesign, could look very attractive.
If you have two eyes, a nose, lips and hair, then you are ready to go.
Well...as long as these features aren't really disproportioned, but then there's always $10,000 - $30,000 and a plastic surgeon that could make them a celebrity. =D

But I see the main point of the thread. People don't like seeing ugly people on screen. When there are particularly ugly people, they're there as an oddity. A novel idea.

But then again. ClouD was right. It's not like the vast majority are hideously ugly. Most people are just. In-between. Average looking.

I see plenty of average looking people on British television.

I actually have fears of my kids being ugly. Not that I will be a shallow mum. It's just they'll have it rough in school etc cause of it.

She's very pretty to me. There are so many people who are FAR, FAR uglier than she is, and if you disagree then you need to get out more. I don't understand why some people are so judgmental, predictable and shallow. Variety is the spice of life, as they say.
