Yeah.... Too many places and so little maximum options....
I think most of us here are European, North American, and some South American. I don't think there are any Asians here, and not many Africans at all.

North Carolina, USA. Kind of sucks. Wish I were still living in Oregon or Hawaii or Vermont or Tokyo, or Barcelona, or Copenhagen or Dublin. This is not the best place I've ever lived.

Ehhh, I don't officially "live" here anymore but I do spend my Wednesdays and Thursdays here:

Where in Oregon do you live? I lived in Ashland. I lived there for 14 years. I moved away because I was sad to see what the town has become. Gentrification from California. My friends were all becoming alcoholics and coke addicts and nobody seems capable of sustaining long term relationships. However, not ALL of my frineds were doing that. And I have the best friends ever over there. Here, in Asheville North Carolina, everyone prides themselves that this is such a progressive (small) city, but it really isn't anything compared to the West Coast. People are moving here from all over the East Coast, especially New York. It is in the process of being gentrified. However, it really doesn't compare to the West Coast. People here just started hearing of bio-diesel and they never heard of permaculture. Also it is hard to meet people here. I haven't made any solid connections or friends yet. People are suspicious of eye contact still. And talking to strangers is weird here. Not like Hawaii at all where everyone is eager and excited to meet people because it is a beautiful place and it is just good to share.
I love traveling for that reason. I love going to places where a lot of travelers come through because people like to meet people. It is strange in places where they don't meet travelers or people from other cultures and countries, because the locals aren't exposed to other influences and they don't understand that their little way of life is not the only little way of life there is.
Oregon is great: it is on the West Coast, so it is pretty progressive, and they are exposed to travelers. But it is not so flaky and ridiculous as California has a tendency to be. I always loved Portland. Great city. Portland, Oregon! Also, Oregon has great nature to explore. great rivers to swim in and hot springs to soak in and green mossy old growth forests with salmon swimmming up.
Can't you tell I'm a little homesick? Don't get me wrong, Asheville North Carolina is cool as far as the East Coast goes. Not as cold as Vermont, but just as rural. we got the Southern Appalachian mountains here with its rich hillbilly culture. In Oregon everyone is growing marijuana and mushrooms but here the people brew moonshine. There are people to meet here also, I just am too shy and jaded. I miss my real friends and don't feel like going out to the bars to meet people.

You also know the kid who is always riding around town on his bike, skates, or longboard listening to his headphones, tries to dress gangster and skater at the same time, he is also the kid who flipped out on the bus to Hershey...

By the way, if you happen to look it up on UD, that first def is based on the bottom 5%, definately written by some douchebag in Haddonfield (local rich town, people from there are pretty much either nice, down-to-earth people or rich, preppy douchebags).

County is Camden county, which ranges from farms to the epitome of the urban ghetto.

State is of course NJ.
