Thread: Mississippi Prom Canceled b/c of Gay Couple

This is my state. The bible belt. Sad but true.



Summary: A Lesbian couple wanted to attend their senior prom (one wanted to wear a tux) and the school did not want them to go "as a couple". The gay couple threatened to take legal action against the school, so instead the school decided to cancel the entire prom. Now, the students are extremely pissed at the two girls.

Personally, I think it's wrong for the school to cancel a fucking senior prom b/c you don't want gay people showing up together. I think it's even more messed up that that that decision forces the school to turn on the two girls out of anger. God only knows what some of them might do to them.
