Seeking Test Subject

      Hello:

I am seeking an individual willing to take part in my enhanced learning, dreaming, and self-awareness experiment. The goal of this experiment is to produce significant change in life aspirations, perspectives, learning ability, dreaming ability, and associated fields. The experiment will go for an undetermined length of time.

I will be utilizing the psychology of Carl Rose, Carl Jung, Pierce J. Howard, and others. Essentially similar to adoption, however, I will be introducing many views and perspectives from several views of psychology, neurology, and philosophy. I have initiated this experiment with another individual off the internet and have been very successful. I wish to discover the results of long-distance life-enhancement.

If my methods continue to be successful, I will be publishing and patenting the work I have done to the scientific public. The individual taking part in this experiment will inevitably have their name and personal information publicised in the event of publishment. Please do not overlook this fact.

Also, those seeking to fabricate their background and characteristics will be immediately revoked with no benefit. This experiment will require signature to a contract. There are no requirements to apply other than an interview. During the interview, I will determine whether or not you are the subject I wish to initiate this experiment through psychoanalysis.

To apply, simply post your reason why you believe I should select you and why it interests you. Do not contact me through any other medium besides this message board. Any other questions or comments may be sent to me through any convenient medium, including this thread.

      Thank you.

i'm always willing to learn... or be given new perspectives on... well... everything.

what does it require? i assume surveys? some reading? would a previous knowledge of any of the stated author's works affect your experiment in any way? is there a random selection? would it matter? what is being tested for (more in depth)? will the participants be informed of the experiment's results? what level of commitment would it take?

just know i'm very interested, i think it would help me both with my experimental knowledge and general knowledge...

variety is the spice of life. i am an adaptable person. i will not bring any explosives into this experiment i do have a weird type of humor but i really don't think that matters. i am willing to work hard. you will most probably want to have different types of people in this experiment. like a 14 year old in high school etc. i basically want to know the same things Adidas posted above. i am extremely open minded and willing to try anything once

      What does it require?

I only ask that you have MSN so that I may communicate with you more efficiently. Otherwise, there are no requirements to apply. I just require an interview with those who I feel are potential subjects.

Survey's are possible - such as MBTI, Ego indicators, etc. Also, I may ask for you to read some material. Any profound text will most likely be a mere suggestion.

Would a previous knowledge of any of the stated author's works affect your experiment in any way?
Besides the level of your understanding, no. Applicants are no required to be familiar with any of the associated authors. However, they may inevitably become familiar with them during the experiment.
Is there a random selection?
I'm allowing anyone willing to take part in this experiment to apply. However, I am only selecting one individual to initiate the experiment with. There will be no discrimination or standards required to meet. Only an interview.
What is being tested for (more in depth)?
Tests will help bring awareness to the individual of their psychological structure. Further tests will only further help understand the many other aspects of your pscyhe. These results will be utilized in order to help enhance self-awareness, memory, dreaming, but especially learning.
Will the participants be informed of the experiment's results?
Yes. The experiment would fail if I did not give the results. These results may also be published.
What level of commitment would it take?
The experiment will take an undetermined length of time depending on the individuals comprehension and understanding of the content. Either way, I look to make a friend in this experiment. Once conclusive results come in (such as College grades) the experiment may stop as I will have results. My expected experiment duration is up to 2 years. However, publishing may take place within this length of time. The individual who takes part in the experiment will be asked to report grades, dreams, thoughts, and general information. This will be similar to therapy. Hence, a contract will be necessary for the individuals safety and my own.
Applications will no longer be accepted after February 28, 2005. At this date, I will delegate over who will be interviewed and I will contact them personally. Updates on the experiment applications will be posted here.

An integral test that I will be using in the experiment is the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). To take this test yourself, Go Here.

I really would do this if I didn't have my GCSE's this year, to be honest, I need as much commitment as possible with those. Just out of curiosity, on average, how much time a week would this take up? If it's not too much, I would be able to participate.

I'd be interested to participate in it as well. I am a psychology student myself, and I hope that won't disqualify me for it. Either way the results and dynamic of it would interest me a lot (after all I am studying it for a reason)...

You can contact me on msn...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

wouldn't more than one participate be more affective to analyze the results? or maybe this more of a one-on-one experiement with the experimenter and the subject.

anyways i am interested, contact me via msn

Offline and in person, yes. Over the internet, I am not sure yet. Thus, I want to see how it goes with one individual first. I only need short duration to figure out whether or not consisten communication occurrs or simply dissipates and the experiment fails. Also, this experiment takes a lot of my time.. Sorry, I can't pick more than one.

I may begin interviews on this weekend. It depends on the amount of applicants I have.

      Application due date drawing near...

As an incentive - if the experiment reaches patenting, the test subject will receive financial benefit.

To apply, simply post your reason why you believe I should select you and why it interests you
I am deeply interested in the human psyche, and particularly analysing how we think as intelligent human beings.
That includes our vices and pitfalls we encounter.
One of my interests is in machine learning and theorising on models that can be applied to computer intelligence
Naturally, psychology and neurology have a massive correlation
Another large reason is the nature of abilities that utilize the subconscious - for example lucid dreaming and self hypnosis.

A further understanding of the human psyche and make-up would be highly beneficial for essentially all the hobbies I participate in

I believe that my deep vested interest in that understanding would be a huge reason to consider me as a candidate. Motivation would not be at issue.
