I conducted an experiment in a college psychology class in which I got my parents and myself to listen to classical music while sleeping (the entire night) some nights and not other nights. I concluded no difference in dream content or recall ability at all, and believe me I compared a lot of factors in the dreams. Content, vividity levels, color, emotion, etc. Maybe 'epic music' would be different, or maybe there was something wrong with the experiment. I think the experiment was okay, (besides the small sample size of people), although I hadn't studied the scientific method yet at that time, the method I used seems scientifically valid looking back.
