      Sublingual B-6 25mg or 17mg?

      I recently bought some sublingual B-6 and have been researching the correct dosage as I obviously don't want anything associated with nerve damage. Anyhow, the bottle says 25MG on the label, but in the "Supplement Facts" it says that each tablet is 17 MG. Now, I was wondering how many mg this actually was. Th company is source naturals if you were wondering.

      Looks like it's this: Source Naturals :: Coenzymated™ B-6

      It's got 25mg "pyridoxal-5'-phosphate" out of which 17mg is B-6. That's 850% of DV

      Personally, I've not had any luck with B-6.

      Alright thanks for the info. Does anyone know if the other 8mg would be dangerous if I took multiple tablets? Thanks..

      The first Google result for "B6 overdose" seems reputable and says continuous daily usage of between 50~200mg for more than a month can cause neurological damage and sensory nerve damage. I don't think what you're using would be a problem since you wouldn't be using the B6 every night for months on end. There might be a few threads on DV that could help you out though.

      Thanks for the reply, but I wasn't talking about b6 overdose. I have researched that pretty broadly. I was asking about the other 8 mg in the tablet that is not B6. Does anyone have any info on this?

      It's to help with B-6 absorption. Try looking up pyridoxal-5'-phosphate on the net.
