      First time use of supplements

Last night was the first time I took supplements before going to bed.
I first spent about 10 minutes of clearing my mind telling myself I would have a lucid dream after which I took the pill and went to sleep.

It became only a little bit more weird than I expected: I had a lucid dream within a dream.

I think I was at school, behind a laptop reading the Dreamviews forums, when I took a nap. In this ''second'' dream I knew that I was dreaming and I wanted to get home for some reason. A friend was with me and we decided to walk home, the odd thing is that despite I knew that I was dreaming, I thought he was too.

Once we crossed were in the centre of the city I thought that it was a better idea to just try to teleport to my house since it was a dream. I didn't know how it worked so I just tried to go and teleport to my house like they did in those Harry Potter movies (ages since I've last seen those)

We so did and were in front of my house, for some reason we decided to visit my neighbour who died a few weeks ago instead of going into my own house.

My Neighbour was already at the door and oddly she looked incredibly young.
She let us in and I saw her husband as well (who died 10 years ago), but he didn't really look like her husband. I asked her in what time they were living and she said 1984.

This is when the whole dream became strange and there came other people inside, storming the house and her husband tried to bite me.
I tried to wake myself up but it didn't work, I forgot what happened from on there but I remember it being somewhat unpleasant.

I woke up in front of my laptop and looked at my screen where I read that I was looking for ''OM'' or something like that, on Dreamviews. I just looked around and saw that instead of being at school I was at the street where I lived, that's when I realised that too was a dream and I woke up.

Anyhow, the dream within a dream is what made it really strange. Especially that it was the dream within a dream that was the lucid dream instead of the the first dream where I was reading about Lucid Dreaming.

I really didn't think that supplements would work that good, I even remember looking around seeing that it was just like real life.

So tonight I'm taking these magic pills again, I hope that they will work even better.

Sounds like it was probably an overwhelming experience. How experienced are you with LDing? Rather than a dream within a dream(which i suppose you could look at it like that) you experienced a false awakening which is actually very common! Good luck with your LDing experiences and you should post what kind of results you get tonight!

      Thanks for commenting! (:

I don't think it was a false awakening because I had one while attempting a WILD a couple of weeks ago and that was clearly different.

And yes! My dream was a lot more vivid compared to my regular dreams and I had a lot more control over it as well, although the dreams I had later that night were no lucid dreams and were not as vivid as the first one so I guess that it had most effect shortly after I took the pill.

My second attempt, of last night, was much of a faillure to be honest.
I went to bed too early because I thought I was tired, I couldn't get to sleep untill like 4 am I believe and the dreams I had were not any more vivid than my regular dreams (Despite that I had about 5 dreams that I can recall easily, so it might've helped somewhat)

I'm not giving it up yet and I will take the pill again tonight, hopefully I'm having less trouble getting to sleep this time.
      Tomorrow I'll post the results!

False Awakenings happen any time you "wake up" inside a dream (or dream that you're waking up).

I took B6/melatonin supplements periodically and found that they worked really well (and sometimes helped with my recall depending on how crazy they made my dreams)

Sounds like an epic dream though, you should keep using the supps and document how well they continue to work!

Aye, I have one question: Do you ever have headaches after the night you took a supplement? I woke up having a terrible one.. Could've been the lack of sleep though

So it's been a while since I've last made use of the the supplement; I was on antibiotics for quite a while so taking the supplement wasn't a great thing to combine that with.

Luckily, I stopped taking the antibiotics and I am now able to take the Vitamine B-complex again.
I'm still amazed by how well it works; I didn't have a lucid dream for a couple of weeks but last night, when I took the supplement, I finally had one again!

What I mainly notice is that when I take the supplement, my dreams feel less like a dream and I'm much less lightheaded, simple things such as the wind feel much more like in reality.

The dream didn't last very long, but atleast it was an improvement, looking forward to the coming night of taking this it. (:
