Subliminal Mp3 Question

Well my question is quite simple :
at [link removed] they say the messages are on a high frequency on the border of human hearing.

When you purchase and download these mp3-files, how can you actually check if there are really audiomessages been played on a higher frequency ?

I mean there could be none oO

If a message cannot be perceived, it cannot affect you, period. The idea with subliminal messages is essentially suggestion. Suggestion can always be perceived, otherwise it wouldn't affect you. It's very likely placebo, and seeing how you are already sceptical of it's effectivity, it'll probably be a waste of time.

I'd recommend using binaural beats or isochronic tones instead. We know they do affect you. We just don't know too much about how. You can even use light for entrainment, but I'm reluctant to do so due to the risk of triggering a seizure, not to mention that it's usually pretty uncomfortable.

If the subliminal signal is masked by some other sounds, then you could first filter those out using hi-pass filtering set at a high frequency (e.g. 16 kHz), and after this amplify the volume to reach the maximum level without "clipping". Lastly, you would then listen to the signal normally, which should reveal the high-frequency content.

If there's no masking sound, then just go directly to amplify the signal and listen.

But some generate subliminal signals using a very complicated procedure of modulating a carrier wave with the subliminal signal. That you would also be able to get audible in the said manner, but the sound would be weird, and maybe unintelligible.

Use e.g. "Audacity" to do the work.
