      Tried Vitamin B6 and... nothing

So I had been reading about B6 and wanted to try it, so I bought some. Bought it at CVS, 100mg per pill. Took 1 pill for two nights and didn't notice anything. Took 2 pills the second night and didn't feel anything either. Took one pill at bedtime on the fourth night, then another when I woke up around 4:30am. Oh wait, I forgot to mention that every single night that I took the B6, I would wake up about 4-5 hours later. Every single night. And I couldn't fall back to sleep either.

Anyone else have similar results and have like trying different supplements? I'm thinking about ordering some galantamine from dreamamins (are they reliable)?

Im still experimenting with Galantamine. So far it has been very effective. Make sure you take it with Choline as the two work together.

I bought a multi-vitaminic complex about a week and a half ago because my recall was getting worse for apparently no reason. I mean, I was getting good sleep at night and everything, but I woke up with really bad recall.

The complex I bought just gives me a slightly higher amount of B6 than the recomended intake, nowhere near 100mg, but it's the best thing I found. I didn't exactly know when to take it, but I figured the best time was a few hours before bed, so I took it in mid-afternoon, at about 7pm. I noticed a dramatic increase in recall overnight, and on the following days it went on. One day I tried to take it right before bed and the results weren't so satisfactory, so maybe this is an important factor. Try to take it some hours before, maybe it helps. I'm still making my research on this, though.

      Hope this is helpful!

By the way, I forgot to mention it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe vitamin B6 works together with tryptophan, meaning they need one another for proper functioning. Maybe the problem could be your protein intake, given you are taking more than enough B6 with the supplement :O

I haven't tried galantamine, so I can't give my opinion on that. I've heard it works really well.
