God dam Australia I swear.... Just browsing a few sites and forums on Kava (irrelevant) and some guy mentioned that he has to get a prescription now for tryptophan and melatonin!!!! I'm thinking wtf, tryptophan is in turkey ffs. So if I wanted to try these for Ld's.... I know if I could get a prescription for tryptophan there's maybe no point in getting melatonin since the brain makes that from tryptophan anyway, but is there any advantage in taking melatonin pills as well? So I search on more of those common LD supplements and find Galantamine is also prescription but one guy mentioned there is an OTC or shelf version of it as well but I'm not sure. Choline is all good apparently. So anyone in Australia know about any of this and if there's anyway to get these things without prescription. Basically just need any info on this matter really. Tommo, Melatonin works much better than just tryptophan, mostly because it takes several steps of conversion before tryptophan makes it into melatonin. The conversion goes something like tryptophan -> 5-HTP -> Serotonin -> Melatonin. Author's like Thomas Yuschak like 5-HTP better for dreaming purposes. I personally prefer melatonin. Is calea z. legal down under? If so you might want to try an extract of that in capsule form. You could also find an American friend to ship it to you as well. Good luck. -FG

Alright thanks for that info mate. Yeh Calea Z is legal. The only thing is I can't find a plant anywhere. It's really strange. I'd rather not spend the money getting bags of dried herb all the time and just grow my own plant/s. Anyway thanx!

Oh wow thankyou so much! I could kiss you Just writing them to see if they do ship to aus coz in the FAQ it says they don't ship to aus because pretty much everything they sell is banned here. But I don't know if they were just talking about Salvia Divinorum because the whole FAQ seems to be about it lol
