Using "Change picture" in your wallpaper to do RC

This is a cool RC for all of you who spend a lot of time in front of their computers. I download a wallpaper about the sky (just because I love to see the sky) the I duplicate that same wallpaper but in photohop I added with the text tool "You're not dreaming." Then in system preferences I selected that folder and choose to altrnate every 5 seconds that 2 pictures as my desktop wallpaper so every 5 seconds the words "You're not dreaming." appear in my screen to remind me that Im not in a dream. You can configure that to alternate every minute or 5 minutes or half an hour etc. I did it in my apple computer, but Im sure that you can do the same in vista

It's suck if you became so used to that image that you saw it in a dream and took its word for it! XD

Your dreams copy what you see in real life, so it would say "You're not dreaming" in a dream.

Well technically all an RC really is is reminding yourself to question if you're dreaming, taking their/its word for it isn't really making it a reality check unless it's something that 100% makes it very different from reality. For example, checking if your hand has a hole in it, or checking if you have more than five fingers and one thumb, these are not possible substances in real life, thus the reality around you being in your head. Now, checking your wallpaper dekstop would only be good to ask you to do a reality check, so then you would check. Not just look at it and if it says you're dreaming you're dreaming, it's not that simple. The mind can be a complex system, remember that.

"You're not dreaming." appear in my screen to remind me that Im not in a dream. I've got XP and no idea how to do that, I don't think Windows offers such an option, although I'm sure it would be easy to download one. You can do that as a screen saver, at least. But how about if it said, "ARE YOU DREAMING?!?!" just to prompt you to do an RC? It seems like that might be more effective because like the people above me said, you might think you are dreaming and then be told by your wallpaper "You're not dreaming!" At least in my dreams I know I'd figure something like, "Well, my wall paper said I wasn't dreaming, so even though The sky is purple and I'm levitating, this can't be a dream!" My non-lucid dream self is so retarded
