Say does anyone here know a site to which I can upload MP3s or WAVs so they cannot be downloaded but played/listened only?

You could always make a black video and put the song in the background, then upload to YouTube. If you want to download something from youtube (automatically converts it to an MP3), go to www.vixy.net.

I play piano, guitar (right now I only have my nylon string acoustic with me) and I sing first tenor. I also have Garage Band, which has a surprising amount of pre-made tracks I might be able to use, or I can just write my own additions.

btw i still need to fix the piano part; it's a little off. If you guys want, i've been working on this trance song, which sounds really good so far. Maybe we can add both songs together and make one really long song.

Well, I've listened to the soundtrack a few times, and it's pretty nice. What's with the piano? It's in for like 8 bars, then it's gone

This is seriously one of the coolest things I've seen in a while...isn't the internet wonderful :-) While I realize that even this piece took quite a bit of effort and was fairly short, I think it would be wonderful to shoot for something in the 20-30 minute range, along these same lines...the various 'sections' all have plenty of potential to be much longer than they were, and the white noise, once in, could have a more constant presence, possibly slowly panning from left to right and fading in and out with respect to volume...thoughts?

Audacity is a free and fairly decent DAW that would probably work for this sort of thing, as long as you were recording all of the instruments directly into the computer through a mixer and didn't need to use any software instruments.

How do I put this on my zune? o-e

I use audacity for recording too. I record nylonstring guitar with a mic and have my Synthesizer directly plugged into my PC.

What I often do is make a beat + bassline in Reason 4, import it into an Audacity file and then play & record guitar, vocals and piano over it.

So anyone who has Reason 4 and wants to add his/her part to this or another Dreaming-Track let me know. PM me.

Anyone without Reason 4 interrested in adding his/her part to this or another DreamTrack should also let me know. They can download Audacity for Free (google it up) or use another sound recording&editing program to import the Reason track which I can convert to WAV- and MP3-format if that works. Then they can record their part to it, convert it back to MP3 or WAV and upload the result and post the download-link here.

I have no video camera or video-editing software to make a black video.
I have some friends who have a camera. Don't know how to make a black video, or instead of blackness an image, and putting the MP3/WAV file on the background.
I have made alot of music/ambient tracks I wish to share with DreamViews and the world, but I'm very protective over my creations so I'd like to make them public, but not downloadable.
Youtube would be ideal only I don't know how to upload such a video without a Cam or Video-editing software.

Care to explain how it's done?
