Thread: 3 dimensional object renders from 2d images. (3d objects youve only seen in 2d on tv).

One of the most fascinating things I become fixated on in my lucid dreams is when I come across objects that are completely 3-dimensional in the dream but I have never seen the object in real life but only one TV meaning ive only seen a 2d image.

I find it amazing that the human mind can render a 3-dimensional image based up abstract images that it has recorded of the subject object.

The reason I find it amazing is because im a software engineer and I see it in the perspective what it would take for a computer program to extrapolate and compile the same render based upon the same input my mind has had. And in this case it would take a very powerful processor and very sophisticated set of physics algorithms as well as pattern extrapolation algorithms.

But your mind is able to pull off the process without mathematics.

The last experience I has was:

I was on a bus traveling down the highway and President Obama, the first lady and his 2 girls were on the bus. All of them had 3-dimensional appearances. On top of that ive only seen the daughters once on television and briefly glanced at them.

This dream did not start out lucid, I became lucid at the point when my conscious mind rejected it as reality, because obviously I would never be on a bus with obama and his family, im a libertarian!
