      Stranger than usual.

      Hey there, I just thought to share an experience I had recently. I have lucid dreams quite often, but this one had something different that is interesting enough to notice.
      Most of the dream to the point I became lucid is not that interesting but the important part is that I was quite annoyed by everything.

      ...I saw my friend's(unknown in real life) leg being broken laying there in a very strange-cartoon-like- way and then I realised and voiced it out loud; Legs can't be broken like that! This must be a dream! Then the rest of the dream, after a small move of mine, started to move and then fade in the background, except from myself and my friend. At the same time, and being so frustrated, I said to myself that I d better wake up. As I was leaving the dream state though, I paused for a sec and said to myself "wait, this is a dream" thinking of the unlimited possibilities and here's where the strange part comes in;
      Thinking that somehow stopped me from waking up, and I was in a very strange state. Believe me, I ve been half awake or half asleep or whatever many times so I am certain it was nothing like that. If anything, I was both asleep and awake. My mind had awoken enough to be fully my awake myself, mentally speaking and yet I was still in my dream in the same situation I was when I forced my dream to end, with absolutely no awareness of the "real" world.
      That feeling was awesome and I even took the brief time to notice it though I could only translate it as "I am waking up" and moments later the previous frustration took over and I yelled something like "WAKE UUUUUUUUP" or just "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" not sure which and I did so. In fact I think I yelled that or part of it in real life too, but can't be sure.
      Then I just raised my head a bit, looked around and went back to sleep.

      What do you think of this? I am actually amazed that such a lame dream turned out this way haha! That experience I ve tried to describe seems to me more like the point between the two phases, awake and asleep than a high level of lucidity due to how it felt and seems. Still pretty damn cool imho. Thoughts?

      I think that just the idea of being lucid is really cool, I haven't had one yet but I got pretty close doing the WILD techneque (SP really creeped me out, that's why I failed) I like DILD alot though, even if it occours randomly. But I'd love to have a lucid dream no matter how bad, as long as its not a nightmare. Witch do you like WILD or DILD?
