      Change from day to night

After coming back to DV afer a long absence, I actually had an LD my first night back..however, it was very strange..upon gaining lucidity, it immediatly became night. Then, it continually got darker until I could only see black, and then I woke up. Anyone else have this type of experience?

I don't know if it's the same thing, but I've had that happen in alot of regular dreams as well as lucid dreams, usually when the dream is beginning to fade, everything goes black but the dream continues, i keep doing whatever it was I was doing, i just have no sight, but don't think anything's wrong with that. It's sort of like I've gone blind.

Ive been "slimed" by that fat funny ghost from ghost busters... then I could not see to well.
How many fingers do I have? You might say 5, 4 excluding my thumb. If im dreaming I will have about 7. But what is one for?... well one finger is when I don't like you!

thats interesting beauty, it seems very similar to what happened to me, I wonder if it is because of the fading dream, loss of lucidity or a combination of the two

Yes, that indeed sounds familiar. I had a somewhat similar experience a while ago - I was lucid and was trying (and failing) to control things while walking on my way, when suddenly I reached some group of trees, like a beginning of a forest, and they were dark. And when I say "dark", I mean night dark - there was a clear, sharp line that divided my area (bright daylight) and those trees (night). I was definetly frightened to venture into the darkness, so I've turned around, walked away, and tried to continue doing things. Then, suddenly, the daylight instantly turned into a pitch black darkness, as if someone pushed a switch that turned the sun off or something. Then I woke up.

I'm not sure, it is strange though. Although once my vision ends in the dream, it's as if the dream sees nothing wrong with not being able to see, like it's just another part of the dream. Often at this point I'll get the feeling I'm in both places, lying in my bed and in the dream (that is if I'm lucid)
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always gotten there first, and is waiting for it."
