      I did it!! Wild worked for me!!

      [size=18]First self-induced Lucid Dream

      I did it this morning. I put the clock to wake me up at 06:30 AM, I tried not to panic and let it go. As the time passed, the reality and the dream world started to mix up.

      One interesting thing I did, and I think it was the key to my success was to put an extra pillow over my head, blocking my line of sight. I say that because, as long as I was getting into sleep and start feeling it, I was always making some reality checks. At some point, I felt that I could not move my arm (sleep paralisys), but I didn't freak out because I read and understand it better.

      One of the checks I did was to open my eye and see if it was everything Ok in my room. And actually I saw the wall, what was impossible cause I had a pillow blocking my view. At the time I didn't notice that and thought, well, It is not working yet, I'm still awake (in fact I was sleeping).

      After that I started to hear the famous buzzes. Once again, because I read things here, I didn't panic, but get excited about what was going to happen. At this point, I decided to peek under the pillow to check my room again.

      Somehow I was up side down... Even so, I thought I was seeing my real room. Remembering something I read here about feeling pulled into the bed and falling, I did this moviment and start feeling I was falling. To check reality, I start claping strongly to see if I would hear it and awake. I din't hear anything.

      That was the signal.

      Well, after checking reality with the clapping thing and being aware I was in control, even with a dark view in front of me, I decided to stand up. So I did it. And as doing this, the logic was the pillow should fall, I started to see.

      It was a small room, white walls, green windows. I rushed to explore the place excited, I was in control. Too much excited though. I examined some rooms, there was something on the floor resembling electronic boards. I started to loose control, due the excitment. I thought of the spinning technique. It was too late. I got stuck in a room, unable to spin and wake up.

      Well, now I have to practice Dream Control.

      Useful thoughts and techniques that helped me:

      [] - Notion of buzz and body vibration;
      [] - Notion of sleep paralisys;
      [] - Notion of breathing difficulty;
      [] - Notion of dark view after getting concious;
      [] - Spinning technique;
      [] - Hint on not to focus on the flashes of images that appear when you are getting into sleep;
      [] - WILD technique;
      [] - Reality Check technique;
      [] - Reading the tutorials and testimonials and experiences.

      Well, make your comments and give me some guidance on how to stay lucid for more than 30 seconds!!

      Thanks for reading!!

      This might not have anything to do with WILD, but it was my first lucid dream, i used the Method HILD, and then went to sleep, then i woke up naturaly i enver remembered anything from that dream, then i had a nother one, my alarm clock woke me up at 6, still nothing then i had another dream, and i woke up i remembered it but thats not realy important, then i tried imagining my self in a lucid dream and recognizing it, then i fell asleep, and i ened up chasing some kid down, jumped at him and somehow flipped him while throwing him off a hill, then later saw him limping up the hill, then i thought to my self wait this is impossible and recgnized i was in a dream, but then i had a False Awakening, and lost my lucid control, this happened right before i was about to try somthing.

      Contrats! Hmm, pillow! I never thought of that before. Something like that does sound like it would be a big help. Just an extra bit of simulus to keep you from falling fully asleep.
      you must be the change you wish to see in the world...
