Did I just have my first lucid?

I don't remember the beginning of my dream, but I remember missing the bus, so I started frantically running back to my house to see if my mom could give me a ride, while I was running, I was trying to go faster but it seemed I was stuck at one speed and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't go faster, the realization that that happens and dreams, and that my mom drives me to my bus stop both entered my mind, so I did an RC, I tried breathing through my plugged nose, I could, after I closed my eyes and I was in my room, I remember reading spinning to keep it stable, while I was spinning I remember thinking "wow, this is amazing, is this really happening?" and that's all I remember, I don't even remember stopping the spin.

This confuses me because I've known about lucid dreaming for 3 days max, before today I only had 1 entry in my dream journal. It just doesn't feel like it really happened, it almost feels as if I was imagining it, even though when I first woke up that was in my mind, but it just didn't feel real.

So my questions, did I really dream that? My alarm woke me up so I know it wasn't me waking up from over-excitement, did I enter lucidity at the very end of a REM cycle? Or do I just not remember the beginning and end of my dream? (I have some fairly bad recall). If I really had this lucid, even though I wasn't in the dream long enough to do anything, it felt amazing.

Lucid dreams can often feel like you just imagined them, like a normal dream memory. As long as you recognized that you were in a dream (regardless of whether you woke up afterwards), it counts as a lucid. So if you felt a rush of excitement and thought you might have been dreaming, that's either very close (high awareness), or a lucid - depending on if you actually came to the conclusion that you were dreaming.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

When I couldn't run any faster and I realized my mom should've taken my to my bus stop, and it was bright, my mind said I must be dreaming. So I did an RC and concluded I was, I just feel like I imagined it, it didn't seem real.

Then yes, it was definitely a lucid. Congrats!

Seriously? I was thinking it was going to take me at least 2 months, I didn't expect it to happen so fast! It felt amazing, just the feeling knowing that I can do anything I want. I need to get my recall down though, because I don't remember many dreams, 1 a night at most maybe, so whats that point of getting lucid if I can't remember it? But still, amazing experience.

I just had my first LD a few days ago and you will know if you are LDing. It seems like you had that feeling that is just unexplainable. It feels so real and you feel so empowered.
