I'm not sure how to rephrase without writing a novel, lol! I tried to keep it as short as possible but I know it's confusing. There's a lot I left out.

It is the strangest feeling waking up and feeling like you've been gone for a few months. I'm still thinking about it after several days have passed. I have had dreams that have felt long, but nothing like this.

EDIT: I posted this in my dream journal and it was nothing short of a novel.
