So before I went to bed today, I read something about recording your own voice, and saying something like "You're in a dream" + 15 minutes of nothing. I created a soundfile and added it to my mobile. I got my earplugs (or whatever the name is) for my phone, but couldn't sleep with them on when going to bed, so I decided to put my alarm clock on 04:30 and then put them on fast, so I would be pretty tired and probably fall right back to sleep. I woke up 04:30, but it took me some time to get them on and in a comfortable way. I was a bit too much awaken by the time, and before I knew it, laying in my bed trying to sleep, I hear my own voice say "You're in a dream". I found it extremely creepy since it was quiet in my room and I was trying to sleep without actually dreaming. I took out the earplugs to the phone and went back to sleep.

I had several dreams but finally the last one was a lucid dream. It was actually my first lucid dream, and it was a false awakening. I woke up in a bed in a classroom, and immiedately understood this was a dream. I was pretty excited so I did a careless nose block RC, and I couldn't really breath through my nose. As I got more excited I decided to try to talk to any of the DC's in the room. I found it a bit creepy that everyone was looking at me, so the only thing I said was "Hey". My dream was getting a bit less vivid and I thought I had to lean backwards to get it more vivid, but I think I fell to the ground somehow and then I woke up for real. I was a bit dissapointed for it to be so small, but I was way more happy that I finally had my first lucid dream after trying to get one for about 1 and a half week!

I think that I woke myself up 04:30 helped a lot for this to happen, so I am going to do the same, without the soundfiles on my mobile, and just stay up for a bit.

What do you guys do to make you stay longer in a dream? Any favourite action you do that you feel working very good? Telling me in a reply would help a lot!
