First LD.

This was a very odd dream. It wasn't particularly vivid, but I think I did well for a first time. From here until I say so, I am not lucid. The earliest thing I can remember is being at this giant mountain ring kind of thing, and there is a dragon flying around in it, and there is water at the bottom. There is a man who wants to break some record for something, and he says he will swing around on these pillars at the top of the mountain and drop down on the dragon. I am just an omniscient spectator at this point, being able to see from all points of view. He proceeds to do so, and I thought it was really cool. It was a very lush and beautiful landscape (I had no idea my brain was capable of making that). That was cool. The record guy is there, observing patiently. He takes down the dragon and he breaks his previous record. I am now given a body, and as he practices swinging around after that I decide to follow him. To my surprise, I am actually able to keep up with him for a while, until I decide I couldn't and just fall down to the water. I am beginning to question the dream. I leave that area and I am in my neighborhood where I live. I am now unaware that I am dreaming, because it is somewhere that I am familiar with in my life. I then see some people working on their yard, and I notice their particularly big hair. I am beginning to gain my lucidity. I continue walking and I ask some other persons "what year is this?" one of them responds, "1981." I begin to explain that I somehow have traveled back in time, but they cut me off, "30 years, right?" I was amazed how they knew that. I then realized I was dreaming, but I didn't really realize the extent of my power and acted in a discreet way, doing nothing that would seem out of the ordinary. I was able to persuade people, but I noticed that it wasn't easy, and seemed just to happen by luck. I wasn't sure if any of my powers would work. I went to go pick up some weed, so I walked into this dingy bar. There's a bunch of kids listening to some dark music, the air is smoky. I ask if any of them has weed, and one of them asks for how much I want. I said I wanted 80 dollars worth, and I stuck my hand into my pocket. I conjured a few 20 dollar bills and handed them over. I asked how long it would take, they said 10 minutes or so. After about a minute of waiting, I jerk awake for whatever reason. I find that its noon, and I'm extremely uncomfortable. Oh well. It was a very odd dream because I could feel my physical eyelids, and I knew my eyes were shut. I made the mistake of closing my eyes in the dream and I think I accidentally opened my physical eyes, but I somehow I continued the dream.

Congrats on your first LD, that sounded pretty cool. As far as control goes, you need to be really confident in your abilities in order for it to work. Now you know not to close your eyes though, haha. I've had that happen to me quite a bit.

lol I didn't have near as good an experience as you. I had my first LD a few days ago. It was shorter than yours and I didn't have full control of even my actions.
