Thread: My first lucid! Woot

Haha, I had my first lucid last night! Although it didn't last very long- the experience you get from it is well worth it. I believe I also has an OBE, and 2 FA all at the same time. If you're interested, please read my DJ for the full story as I don't really want to post it here I recommend it for people who are still trying to have their first lucid.

Method used: WBTB then DILD
woke up around 5 am using an alarm. As soon as I woke up, I recorded 3 of my dreams I had previously had. I then got up to go pee, and splashed my faced with cold water. Got back to bed, opened my laptop, and went to dreamviews browsed for around 20 minutes, I tried to avoid the scary posts and went towards the inspirational posts. I ended the browsing with a tutorial on DILD/WBTB. I then tried to WILD- but I found that I was too aware because I got splashed by cold water and it was freezing outside, so I chanted to myself, "I will lucid dream tonight" and let my concious slip away for dreams sake.

All my dreams were surprisingly about lucid dreaming. I went lucid in a short dream and woke up into an FA, and from that FA I went back to "sleep" and went lucid.

I had very little dream control/stabilization, but oh well- I passed the first big step, on to the next
