It's a completely personalized form of entertainment, and the special effects kick ass. I dream not only to be entertained, but also to challenge myself, to see how far I can take it, and how skilled I can become at it. |

I Wanted to have lucid dream mainly for the fun of it, to see what the world in my head is like. |

"A scary dream makes your heart beat faster. Why doesn't the part of your brain that controls your heartbeat realize that another part of your brain is making the whole thing up? Don't they communicate?"
-George Carlin
For me it is a case of exploring endless possibilities, expanding the imagination. I am a writer, and when I first heard about it my first thought was that it would be awesome to place myself inside my novel, in my character's shoes, and to feel the imagery and emotion etc... explore new worlds. I feel that the most thrilling thing about writing is creating whole new worlds and possibilities - things that never would have existed until you created it, and then it exists on paper for other people to read and explore too. Yeah, sex and flying etc would be awesome, but that would be my main thing. |

my new reason for lucid dreaming, is because i can be luke skywalker and kill all the evil sith lords!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol jk |

Awaiting word on what's to come
In helpless prayers a hope lives on
As I've come clean I've forgotten what I promised
In the rays of the sun I am longing for the darkness
For me, lucid dreaming is a gateway into another world and there's much to be found within it. |

Eh.. I guess, because I can? |
|
one of my main goals in lucid dreaming is to understand more about myself and existence in general, and i feel that some of this can be accomplished during my sleep. lucid dreaming helps me to grow and learn more about my life, while attempting to answer the many questions i have during waking life. werd. |

Thinking about the structure of the universe and the philosophical conundrums within, the only answer to why and how we exist is stated in explicit absolutes: There is only everything and nothing and that is the only universal truth there is. There is no such thing as empiricalism (except as a gemetric contstruct within the collectivity of our inspired minds) and reality is all "percieved" through the eye of the beholder. |

Im learning because I want to explore the worlds of books, games and myown worlds that are made up in my mind. (I want to visit Balamb Garden from Final Fantasy 8.) Roller, Yep exactly. You may say that I am a dreamer...
But I am not the only one.....
Maybe someday you will join us....
And the world will be one....
The reason that I want to be lucid, is because it is so unlike anything in the world. It is so enlightening. Almost every time I am lucid, I wake up with an almost euphoric feeling. Even now, just thinking about one of the times I've been lucid, I could just cry with joy. My LD's are few, (I anly have about 2 a month or so) but they are very intense emotionally. I love that feeling... |
