My first prolonged Lucid Dream :>

Hello! I have been lurking this forum for about 9 months, reading tutorials monthly and other common posts as well. I followed tons of advice I read here, but until tonight I have only had 3 very short LD's.

Tonight I found myself in a dream, sitting on a couch 200-300m above ground on a straight pole with my friends, I was freaking out because it felt like I would fall down.
Soon I realized this was a dream and I flipped the couch so we all fell down. -

After the last time I had a short LD I read about it here and found out I needed to stay calm, focus on the environment and just do some stuff.

      - I rubbed my hands and started taking in the scenery, moved towards a ledge and already I could feel the dream stabilizing. I watched the late night sky, an immense cloud formation above the horizon, more red and colorful then I have ever seen anything be. It was beautiful, but I immediately moved on as I knew I had to keep going.

Moving through the dream was fun, but I didn't get to test myself too much. I managed to summon a golf ball inside my hand. I also found out that I could enter a portal in any wall and come out in a specific location, some kind of lab some people were in. -

After I woke up I just went back to sleep - and I landed in yet another lucid dream. The dream was highly related to the last one, but freaky zombie children broke into the lab ish thingy I could teleport to.

Throughout both dreams I kept meeting people, depending on my intent they were friendly or a bit careful.

When I woke up I remembered most of my dream, and I still do. I have never written a DJ, and I will continue not to do so. I loved my first prolonged lucid dreams and I sincerely hope to have many more of them in the future.

The reason I am posting this is to thank the community of DV. I read countless tutorials and decided to not use any techniques or give it any specific effort. The only thing I have done is to believe that I will lucid dream, because I can.

      So thank you DV <3

Congratulations on your lucids! They sound like very nice experiences. I have a question though, why will you not keep a DJ? Not even for yourself? It's hard to keep track on all the amazing experiences you have, and by having pictures, videos or entries of those particular times, you activate that memory, and relive it Ofcourse this is up to you, but that's how I view it. Also, your recall WILL go up if you keep a journal.
