Thumbs up My First Lucid Dream

So i was in a dream and when i first started dreaming i was on a rollercoster (it was blue and red). I was not aware i was dreaming at this time but anyways i was on a rollercoster it started really slow then just out of no where started going really fast and making sharp turns and the whole time i was on the rollercoster i had a little blue ball on my lap but it didnt fall until after a while the blue ball flew forward off of my lap and i tried to catch it but when i was reached out about to catch it the rollercoster stopped instantly (no slowing down or anything) and i banged my head then i appeared outside of the house i am living at now(but when i had my dream i wasent living here yet) and i saw my ex-girlfriend crying and i was asking her whats wrong over and over but she wouldnt answer me until i told her "calm down its just a dream" then at that point i realized i was dreaming and right after i told her that she looked up at me, smiled, gave me a kiss on the check and walked away.. after about 2 seconds later my dream shifted to a grave yard (it was night time) it was me and my 2 other friends one of, my friends were trying to fly (i was still lucid) and one of my friends got mad because he couldnt do it and left.. then my other friend was hovering kind of and told me to grab his leg so we can fly i thought whats the worst that could happen im dreaming so i grabbed his leg and he was flying low to the point where my face was hitting the ground so i let go and told him grab on to my leg and we will actually fly, then he told me "what if we fall" and i told him "just trust me" so he grabbed my leg and i started to fly but i went too high where i lost control and we were free falling then when i hit the ground i died and woke up.

Got to say though, that was one of the longest phrases I've read in quite a while

      Congrats.
      And nice ending.
Thinking about the idea of riding a rollercoaster before falling asleep would be a great way to become lucid. Without logic, it might be enough time to realize it is dream before the rollercoaster decides to turn right-side up once the track goes into a loop or twists upside down. And who knows if the rollercoaster stays in a designated spot or takes you to the far end of the universe.
      I might try that tonight.
