I think I just had a lucid dream!

But I am not sure. Okay, first of all a question - is it possible to DREAM that you are having a lucid dream? A kinda, dream in a dream? Or is it lucid no matter what?

Basically I was dreaming, I'd just ran out of my house for some reason or another, to go play about on the grass outside, so I was running and I just suddenly said to myself in excitement "I'm dreaming!!!!! OK I should do a reality check.... oh but I can't be bothered, I KNOW I'm dreaming because the way I am running feels so... dream-like!" - I guess that was a reality check in it's own right lol. So yeah I just sorta said to myself "okay I am going to run down there" and I basically did what I wanted for a couple seconds and then I forget what happened after that!

Is that lucid? I thought it would be more... that I would feel more... am I expecting too much? I wasn't trying to initiate this btw, and I am real lazy with my reality checks so it's odd that I did that in my dream!

When you are aware that you are dreaming and awake at the same time that is being Lucid (Clearness of Thought and Mind) in you dream. It comes at different levels. Your clearness of thought may of only been some as apposed to a lot of memory and awareness but that can be a good thing at first because If you get to excited you will lose your lucidity over and over each time you get overly excited. Yes I think you had a Lucid experience Great

Sorry, but I think it's your excitement that made that dream. I had a dream where I did a reality check, but then I don't remember what happened after that. I guess that was a dream about lucid dreaming, I dunno..
