Is this the start of a WILD ?... Help please

Is this the start of a WILD or do I have some kind of nerve disorder or something. Someone mentioned in another post to start tapping two of your fingers lightly like playing a piano and think about nothing else. I thought that sounded a little silly and not very hard to do. Well after a few minutes I loose concentration and start to tap hard or think about something else and I have to start all over again. After a wile suddenly it feels like someone slapped or knocked my hand aside and it startles me. I continue and after a couple of minutes I get whacked in the foot. It startles me each time. Also at that very instant there’s a feeling of falling. Very quick and its over in a split second. Are these scary jolts worth pursuing?

I wouldnt bother with that, the whole point of tapping your fingers is to enter an LD after waking,

in other words when you wake up in that dazed state about 5 secs after waking (without the use of an alarm clock) and then without getting out of bed go directly back to sleep making your fingers extremely lighty tap up and down possibly not even actually moving then your doing the same as a WILD but it only takes a few seconds, personally I have done this but the dream lasted about 3 secs and was fuzzy.

so no, I wouldnt reccomend using this as the central method, just more as of something you would do when you wake up from a noise or something at night (at least 5 hrs after you went to bed ) but its VERY important to just give up if you dont fall asleep after like a min, that or just wait till your on the brink of falling back to sleep and then start

But what is the slapping of my hand or foot. It has happed without finger taping. Usually if I haven’t had any sleep for a couple of days. I want to do a WILD if I can

      an idea

Where I used to work, I had to do graveyard shifts. Sometimes I'd get so tired, and I'd lie down for a while (we weren't allowed to sleep). I'd close my eyes, but I knew that I couldn't go to sleep or I'd get in trouble. So, I would stand up, but in reality I was still lying down, and I'd go about doing my regular job duties. It seemed so real, but then I'd realize that I was still lying down, and I'd get up. This happened to me quite a bit.

Hey, I don't know if these are WILDS or not, but if they are, this technique may help you out:

When you're really sleepy, (like right after you wake up early in the morning) lie down and try to concentrate on doing something (try to keep yourself awake), like flipping on the light switch, but it has to feel important to you. You may even try concentrating on writing in your dream journal (as that may seem important). I don't know how many times, I've thought I've written in my DJ, but upon waking up, I realize that I imagined the whole thing.

I say go for whatever works for you. Feelings like that is the start of a WILD but chances are you woke up slightly after each time because it came out of no where like that. Which is why you failed. The falling feeling is normally right as you enter the dream.

I think you almost had it but it kind of surprised you and messed you up.

I think that I have had this, or something similar happen to me. Sometimes, especially on car rides, I'll be right in the stages between dreaming and being awake. I'll be imagining walking down the sidewalk, but it's as vivid as a dream. suddenly I'll trip and i'll wake up and my hands and feet will jerk. Maybe you could be having the same problem.
Hey, haven't seen you around in a while
I didn't go to work for a month
I didn't leave my bed for eight days straight
I didn't feel angry or depressed
I didn't feel anything at all
I didn't want to go to bed
And I didn't want to stay up late
