      Lightbulb What's that?

Hello guys, I've been very much into Lucid Dreaming like the last summer, but it took out too much of my sleep during my school year so I had to stop.

I had this strange lucid expierence tonight and I'm not sure what kind of lucid dream it was. I had a nightmare tonight and woke up around 4:00. After laying in a bed for around a minute or so I'm not so exatcly sure what happened I thought about something like "I'll appear in my school now" and I immediately appeared in my school which was REALLY realistic, just like my real school. There was one problem though - it all looked like I'm closing my eyes and I'm going to wake up in a second. Then I remained calm and said something like "Everything is vivid" or "Eveything will be vivid, I won't wake up" and everything got much clearer and brighter. Just like turning up the monitor brightness . So I proceeded throughout the school. As I said it was very realistic. I went downstairs to the -1 floor and I tried to use this one thing I remembered from lucid dreaming. I thought to myself "My best friend *name* will appear after this corner". I went around the corner and she was there.

She was talking with me, and she wasn't talking non senses, she said normal, easily understandable stuff in her real voice. We went outside. Everything outside looked realistic aswell. The stadium, the parking lot of the school. Before going into the parking lot I thought to myself "My motorcycle will appear around this corner". I had an image of my real motorcycle in my mind. It's funny, because when I woke up I thought why the hell didn't I think about some Ferrari or Bugatti? I thought about my damn motorcycle instead of some super car .

Back to the dream. This time there was no exact motorcycle behind the corner. There was one strange looking vehicle which reminded a motorcycle and a Jeep, which looked a lot like my brother's jeep. So we got inside the Jeep and drove out the school area. Well, from now on everything wasn't so geographically accurate. After driving around for a while and passing a bridge everything started to look like it started. It was looking like I was closing my eyes slowly. And then I woke up.

Soo... I've never had such a long Lucid dream. I didn't even expect to have lucid dream. Wasn't thinking about lucid dreaming for like 3 or more months. It just happened. What kind of Lucid Dream was it? I forgot the types of them. I'm surprised it was such a long lucid dream. I could talk, "spawn" objects and people etc. Did the nightmare I had before had to do anything with it? Any help is appreciated

Nice dream, I guess its a deild, dream exit induced. Also, how can lucid dreaming take out of your sleep? When I get up for a 2min wbtb I generally feel more energized in the morning.

Your dream was most likely a DEILD ( Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream ).

Usually if you ingrain things into your subconscious over a long duration of time it would be hard and anguishing in order to erase them.

Months in a subconscious can be like days, hours, minutes and sometimes seconds.

Remember, the more you pratice in your FREE time, the better you'll be at lucidity regardless of academic schedule.
