Thread: I flew!

I've always had a hard time flying in lucid dreams, but yesterday morning I succeeded. It was awesome! I remember standing by a cliff side and thinking in my dream, 'I wonder what would happen if I just jumped off?' Right then, I realized that I was dreaming - it was kind of weird, and I knew that I could just "jump off". It was a really cool realization - knowing that you could do something that was seeminly impossible.

So, I decided to practice my flying - but I was still a little nervous in the dream. So, I jumped off, and I got my right arm out, but my left arm was still stuck to my side (which has prevented me from flying in past lucid dreams). It was such a high cliff though, that I had time to think about it - I just kept telling myself - "I know that I can fly - I'm going to do it!" Then my left arm shot out and I flew! It was one of the coolest lucid dreams I've ever had.
