This is my first post on here, but I wanted to share some of my early experiences with lucidity as I am trying to get back into a form of dedication to lucid dreaming.
My first experience with lucidity:
I found myself in a vast expanse of pure white with nothing but a pristine red fire truck in front of me and an ax in my hand. I felt a kind of insistence, not so much a desire, but that I was supposed to destroy the fire truck. After casually considering how peculiar and ridiculous the situation was I immediately experienced a thought form suggesting that I could be dreaming. It's hard to describe, but this thought was not my own, however once I considered the possibility I realized that I WAS dreaming and I became very excited. The dreamscape changed instantly and I found myself in the middle of a grassy countryside with rolling hills on a windy day. I couldn't help but be overwhelmed and quickly found myself observing the hillside from an overturned television screen among a stack of others that I was also trapped inside at the same time. It was very bizarre and I think I lost lucidity shortly after this point.
This really whet my appetite for lucid dreaming and I was disappointed that I couldn't control my reaction as well as I had hoped upon becoming lucid. The next time I had a lucid dream I did better but it didn't last very long:
I was in a basement with some people, I'm not sure who they were. Suddenly I saw my sister and noticed that she was slowly levitating 3 blocks above her hands. I immediately realized I was dreaming but this time the transition was much more natural and smooth. I got her attention and she looked at me and I told her with a certain degree of cheerful excitement "this is a dream!" She immediately ignored me and the levitating blocks dropped to the floor. I don't remember much beyond this point but the dream did not last much longer.
I've had other experiences where I become lucid and make the mistake of trying to do something sexual right off the bat and as soon as I do it is as if my subconscious says "ah ah ah, sorry buddy but you blew it, again!" I vividly remember pulling a move like that once and the dream immediately began to collapse: an uncontrollable grayness seeped in from the peripherals of my awareness until the dream disappeared until I ultimately had a false awakening (I didn't realize it was a false awakening until I woke up for real, unfortunately).
