1st LD - Space, flight and freedom

Well I thought this was going to be my first post but apparently I'm already a member here (tastybastard? oh well ).

      Anywho here's the experience:

My first dream segment was just me exploring a labyrinth of a funeral home (I used to work at one). Eventually I made it outside and it was an old English cobblestone type setting. I just stood in the streets for a few moments then out of the blue... BAM "Ohhh I'm dreaming". I immediately took off like a rocket, I've never gone that fast. As I was flying up through the clouds the dimly lit city became smaller.

Soon I was passing through the atmosphere and closed my eyes and thought of where I wanted to go. I soon found myself floating in space, no body, in front of a giant sun-like plasma mass. This realm had no stars, just this thing. It was immense but my being occupied more space than the celestial body which I was viewing, I was a huge observer. I was manipulating the plasma somewhat but when I tried to touch it with my ethereal appendages, it was either too hot or gave me some kind of shock.

I soon was back on the planet. I found myself in some kind of dessert town/city, like something out of star wars. I said something like "Wow this is what it would be like when peace and freedom are common on earth". The dream quickly turned sexual. As soon as I had a single thought it was like I couldn't help it. I began looking for a person whom I would engage in dream coitus. I found a lady but she did not comply with my wishes and it seemed to be a struggle on my part. The longer this went on the less control I had and the more the dream began to fade. I just gave her a hug and let the dream go. This is now one of my fondest experiences. My enthusiasm for dreaming has been only reinforced.

      pleasant dreaming friends

Thank you Brock, I'm glad you found humor in this I was a little surprised I didn't get that excited when this happened. Even when I woke up I was pretty calm, happy but calm.

For awhile I've been telling myself that lucid dreaming is no big deal, everyone can do it and it's humanity's natural ability. This thinking let me be more patient because I realized a LD would be coming in time. I'm not positive but I think the duration of lucidity may have something to do with these chosen beliefs.

thats a good idea, ill have to try that thinking, but it takes time to truly understand an idea that you havent conceived yourself so ill sit on it until i have more time. im on a pretty large dry spell at the time.

Very true. Integrating something into your subconscious can be slow like you said. It will take some time but it'll be worth it. Best of luck to you.

Cool dreams! In 2012 New Year's eve, I had my first in awhile epic dream. Although I've mastered flying as soon as I'm lucid, this one I was able to become invisible in a futuristic wasteland of America. I'd like to describe it, like half matrix half apocalyptic. There were hover crafts, that had legs that had suction feet to stick to ice covered highways.

I want to attempt to bring a friend to a dream, experiment with remote viewing and create another world. My dreams are intricate adventures, like 3d action movies.
