non-REM Lucid Dreams - share your experiences!

I just woke from my first (recallable) non-REM lucid dream, here's what happened:
      DILD
I fall asleep.. the next thing I know, I'm high up in the air and I'm flying over a large body of water. I decide to swoop over the water just for the thrill of being so close to it. As I'm diving down, I get dual-consciousness; feeling my waking body laying in bed. I attempt to rub my dream hands to stabilize, but it does little to help. Vision of my dream hands fade in and out.
Pulling up from the water, I notice two jets are behind me and there's a mountain in the distance.

From this, I woke up to a short FA that I also got lucid in and another short dream where I was at school. This was all within 1 hour of being asleep. I wonder how many dreams we actually have per night that we don't recall, both in REM and out of it?

Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!

Nice dream, but how do you know it was non-rem?

I just don't believe it was possible for it to have been REM so fast. My sleep schedule is fairly decent bar the day a few nights ago. REM occurs 90-120 minutes into initial sleep and when I woke up, I had only been asleep for at MOST, 45 minutes.

      Ohhh ok. Possibly!

I wonder how many dreams we actually have per night that we don't recall, both in REM and out of it?
I was thinking about the other day, see how some dreams you become lucid get excited or something and it ends, well what if some happen to be even quicker than that, like "Whoaa am i dreami-" dream ends. Or you might realize its a dream, but before you can even think it, you're unconscious. I dunno, but its highly likely we have a lot more dreams, and lucid dreams than we remember. Kind of sad
