I had a non lucid dream (which I didn't write down, so I'm a little fuzzy on) but I became randomly lucid after looking at my hands. I was sat in my car in the dreamscape, then I randomly had the urge to look at my hands. So I did, and became lucid. It lasted about 7-8 seconds because maybe I slipped back into a non lucid dream. So on to the dream. I tried to summon a unicorn outside my car but nothing happened...I then maybe woke up, FA'd (False awakened), slipped into a non lucid dream or maybe something else. My guess is that I lost hope of being in the dream because it felt too real to be a dream, although it was, then slipped into the non lucid dream. I was pretty dissapointed haha. |

Congrats for your first short lucid dream. |
Well if you were able to keep the dream stable for long enough to try to summon something on your first lucid - you're doing better than I am doing. |
^ Mhm, heard 'dat.
That's good for your first lucid. Remember to take time to stablilise the dream and calm yourself down before trying anything, that way it will last longer |
Thanks alot guys! Next time I will stable the dream. Would rubbing your hands together work? I heard it works. That or the spinning method |
Yes it would work. Stabilisation works by using your senses and therefore securing yourself into the dream. Try and use all of them; smell things, lightly touch the object around you and listen to what's going on. You can even taste something if you're up to it. I ate chocolate cake once in a lucid and it tasted really good |
