Thread: Recent dreams

I've been having a lot of lucid dreams recently. One of the best was being in the trenches of WW1 and escaping into an area with huge moss-covered castles, I've never seen anything so vivid in a dream. They were towering above me and the colours were leaping out at me, just amazing.

I stay lucid by spinning around with my arms out, or looking at my hands, or holding my hands out and counting out 1 to 10 with my fingers. I don't really have any techniques of bringing on a lucid dream, so I'll have a read round the forum for ideas.

Recently I've got into a bit of a routine where I'll wake up at about 6am then go back to sleep for another hour or 2. In that hour or two I frequently have lucid dreams, a few times a week maybe. So the frequency is great, but I'm slightly more aware of myself lying in bed at times and staying lucid is harder than, say, if I had a lucid dream in the middle of the night. Anyone else get a lot more lucid dreams when going back to sleep for a short while after a nights sleep?

Anyway, this recent spate of lucid dreams reminded me of this forum, I remembered login details and looked at my profile. 7 years since last post Since being here last time I see a lot more acronyms and generally a lot more info so I've got a lot of reading/catching up to do...
