Just had my first lucid dream, aw yeaaah

So I was in a music class at school, and I was late and the teacher went out of the room to get stuff I'd missed. I don't play any instruments and some idiot who is in one of my actual classes asked why I'm taking music when I don't even play an instrument, and my reply was "Cause this is a dream, I'm dreaming you twat" hahahaha. Proceeded to run through the school and then I woke up But it still was really cool!

Hmmm did you actually know you were dreaming, though? There are many instances where we talk about lucid dreaming in our dreams, and we even insist to the DCs that it is a dream. But unless you really had a moment of clarity and went like "Oh wait this is a dream!", I'm afraid it is not considered a lucid dream. If you did know it was a dream even before saying it to your classmate, then Congratulations! See ya around, have fun!

^^ This is true. But it's also important to keep in mind that 'dreaming about lucidity' often happens just before you actually achieve lucidity. It's a good sign that you're thinking about it enough that it's starting to sink into your subconscious and you'll soon be having honest-to-goodness real live lucid dreams (not saying this one wasn't - we just can't tell from the description of it).
