      possibility of a second reality

imagine this ... a dream so insanely intense it is like a second reality. If you think about it ,What is reality? but thats a whole different story? im saying a lucid dream every night, the same dream, but its literally like waking up into a different life with different obligations , families , relations etc . you would be lucid of course. and no you're not "obligated" to do anything. I have explored the though alot..and wondered is this posible? to have the same dream ever night, just like its a .... alternate universe? Has any one have any experience with this? even if not I would like to here your input. I mean come on how amazing would this be. another thought to think about..imagine if this actually did happen to someone , but they weren't lucid , so for them they would have to lives. witht them not knowing witch one is "real"

      leave a comment please

      thank you

To answer, yes I have a (two) world(s) of my own. Book world and Dream world, BW exists within DW currently.

question, do you visit that world every night ? and if so can you describe it in more detail? I would love to hear from someone who has there own "world" what its like in a typical dream. And does the dream ever switch things on you without your "permission" ?

Ah complicated stuff. Time "flows" even while I am awake, to make it seem more real and it changes accordingly to the "actions" of the DCs, so yeah it changes without permission.

Right now my default starting location is DW, was in book world for a year and a half more or less, plan to visit it at least once a month to check on some DC I know.

Dream World is rather big, there are in total 5 realms within it, the smallest one I created a planet with floating mountains that absorb light. Some other notewhorty planets is one with a mountain-garden that got an interdimensional portal to a world where a lot of dinosaurs and giant mammals live, like king kong, used to be the house of a granny until she did of old age. The other realms, uh don't visit too often all the planets, there is one where people believe me to be their savior because I destroyed some aliens, visit them often because they have awesome food and a weird as hell calendar, some other planet with an anual competition between "angels/demons" to see who will rule for the year and help humans out, had a friend who would use a winged demon.

Book world got around 490 pages, each one with its own world. A lot of the pages were built in using memories from dream world and thus both have similar planets. Nearly all of the first 50 pages are made out of game worlds, the next are normal earth-like worlds with some galaxies here and there. There is a page with a single building, and some others wich were destroyed during a fight. Last pages were created half by the book and half by someone who was attacking me.

Thats the super-short version I guess.

Not really, don't check back on most planets and the ones I do the dream will just have the new scenario when I arrive, so yeah don't even have to worry about it.

Sorry, I'm confused. What do you mean by a "book world"?

Hi forestdreamer. It seems to me that the mere existence of lucid dreams should undermine our confidence in the real-imaginary distinction. No sharp distinction between real and imaginary can be maintained anyway, because dreams are at least real as dreams and are obviously in causal contact with the so-called real world: the "real" world causally affects the dream world and vice-verse. Causal potency is a favorite mark of reality among philosophers. I think what we call reality might be just dreams and reified dreams.

Ah, book world is just that. A world created inside a book, it resides of course in the dream world.
