I've also had scale issues, usually its me being too short compared to other people that I know I'm taller than.

To answer the topic, my dreams does almost always take place in the same dream world or one of several where I go back to the same places over and over and remembers what have happend in other dreams. I think my largest dream world is about seven or eight years now and keeps expanding.

When it comes to style mine is pretty realistic only more extreme and vivid and changes depending on place and time frame of the dream.

This is my first post btw, I'm exited to have found people that aren't gonna think im crazy when I tell them about my dreams

GOD FUNGUS, YOU DREAM?!?!? HOW MAD!!!
No, but really, welcome to the forum

A world you keep going back to must be fairly interesting, do you find people recognise you as you return? I mean other than the "main" recurring characters of your dreams

      Thanks X)

If you mean that DC's I've interacted with before remembers me, yes they do but unfortunately I kill a lot of them or they get them self killed . Sometimes "plots/stories" span over several dreams and then off course the same characters appear and some live or work or hang around in certain areas, how they respond to me depends on what "persona" I embodies at the moment. It's a pretty neat world I've got

Is it a fairly large world? Or is it simply the size of a city or town? To keep a whole world the same through several dreams must surely be difficult?

It's an alternate version of Stockholm where I live, which is very detailed and then there is different places sort of spiraling out of there and there is different routes/ means of traveling to/from these places. Then I have a city in India and a few cities/villages/landscapes in Africa, a few space ports/ships and some poorly explored planets and some more cities, some places are more limited than others but most of these reappear regularly or from time to time.

It's not difficult though when it's something you can't control, I have very limited control in my LDs. I would think lots of people around here would also have worlds they come back to?

Well lets hope we hear about them

So can you explore beyond these pre-created areas? Does the world generate itself as you progress and explore? Or are you stuck to those pre-determined areas?

It self generates to fit the situation or to progress it but the next time I return to that place it is the same place in the same spot, some times slightly different but mostly pretty spot on or at least it seems that way to me both in dream and upon waking up.

What are the people like that inhabit your world? Are they friendly towards you, or do they see you being lucid as a bad thing and try and take it from you? Do they even know you are a dreamer and they're simply characters?

If I'm lucid its okay if I don't use it too aggressively at them if I do they go apathetic and unresponsive. There are usually more mean, corrupt or evil people than nice people but that is often not directed at me. People needs me to save them a lot and I mostly have some on my side. The DCs are pretty colorful characters and with different agendas but there is always some that absolute hate me. And there is consistently a hidden plot the DCs seems to follow, they don't like when I stray too far away from that, when I do stuff that don't fit the situation.

I have a hard time imagining them ever being aware of me as a dreamer, that sounds creepy as if they actually had their own consciousness beyond my subconscious.

How does "normal"/other people dream is there always different places? Seems like a waste to me not to expand upon what you've already created if you're skilled at LDing.

(I'm hoping this isn't too off topic and that this post actually makes any sense, I should get some dreamtime it's almost 2am X))

Interesting how people almost seem to have like a "Hometown" that they inhabit and often visit, with familiar characters and Locations. My dreams (non-lucid) all seem to take place in different, seemingly random locations

What kind of agendas do they follow? Do you find yourself famous or well known within your dreams by the characters?

These are a lot of questions, why don't you try your own dream world for a change?

I'm still a bit new/rubbish to the whole lucid dreaming thing, so have very little to input myself

My own world seems to consist of mostly large cities and high society life, as I think I said somewhere before, and the people inhabiting them tend to be fairly bland. Apart from the "main" characters I never really strike up conversations with anyone

Maybe you need to start talking to DCs

Lets get lucid first, then I'll get on to it

I like your idea though, my first goals once getting truly lucid are to simply explore wherever I'm placed, taking time to look around and interact with anyone I find
