      My first Lucid Dream finally!!!

      Hello all!!

I so excited today after 2 months and something of trying I got my first lucid dream!!!

I just want to share the experience here and also would like some opinions about some weirdness I felt to see if it s common or not.

I went to bed at 11 pm and start trying some MILD (after reading Naiya tutorial) visualizing me somewhere in a dream being lucid and fell asleep

When I got dreaming it was night and I was entering my home but in the corner or my eyes I saw a strange reflect on my car in the garage it was like one second but I just thought ah something weird during the reality I should do a reality check even if it s quite insignificant so I entered the house and it s dark so I remember yeah right the light interruptor trick lets do it just for fun and pamp! it did not light up so I was like Oh my God this could be it! and I stood in the darkness and pushed my finger in my palm conviced that it would work and my finger went thru my hand I was like no way this is happening!

Well l want now you guys to look at what follow to tell me what you think. Imediately I felt a rush of emotion but at the same time a very loud buzzing in my ears and my body was vibrating so I thought I m gonna lose it so I remember to rub my hands together and it stabilized...

Then the dream went on but I feel that from this point on I was like "85 % lucid" because it was not as much as they described that everything was crisp and so clear and detailed...but well the dream was in the house a lady was giving a class but only with the small light of a candle and I was alone so I decide to get near and see what was going on, but at some point she said she was my mother and started to hug me strong but the face was different so I was feeling kind of awkward and not very at ease so I thought I would feel better with light so I demanded light out loud 2 or 4 times but it remained in darkness so I got free of her and thought better I go outside and I went but it was dark so she was following me saying let me hug you and hugging me strong but I was demanding again light outside but it did not happen so finally I was feeling too odd in that hug so I woke up in a sudden...

It was a lucid dream! but I dont know,,maybe semi lucid by parts...what do you think about that feeling of being immobilized by her and the buzzing? Because later I thought what if in some corner of my mind I was aware of my real body sleep paralysis (for the buzzing and feeling of oppression) and it leaked into my dream story? Would that be possible?

I also want to say I had a very awful day at work and got a big fight with my boss...so that may explain a bit the darkness of it...

      Any opinions are welcomed!

      C-C-C-C-CONGRATULATIONS!

There really is no feeling like the surge you get when you become lucid aye?

Regarding the "buzzing". In my second lucid (which only lasted about 8 sec) i heard a sound like, if you imagine sticking your head out of a car window at high speed, the sound of wind blowing past your ears, intensifying and getting louder and louder untill i heard a massive roar followed by a loud bang much like a sonic boom that woke me up.
So the sound aspect you talk about is common, atleast for me.

      Wow! Congratulations yanickma!!

I have a theory as to how you felt those buzzing sensations. We all know becoming lucid can cause so much excitement that it can wake you up. It might have been what happened to you, but you didn't fully wake up — just started to. I think this is what happened, since I've also had many experiences like this, and when my body starts to wake up, I start getting physical sensations like the ones you described. It is at this point that I focus on the dream and stabilize if I can. If i do wake up fully, I attempt a DEILD.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      Hello guys!

Thank you both for your insight...It looks very much like what you described...actually it was a quite cool sensation, I felt like every molecules of my body were dissociating but I know that I needed to make it stop to avoid losing the dream...

It was a short LD maybe 5 minutes but I was really happy to make it since I have read that most people just wake up after 5 sec due to the excitement.

Can t wait to have more!

      See you!

i agree with paige reasoning. exactly the same thing with me so far.
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

Yeah a few days ago I got Lucid and I ended up losing it but I still had visuals and hearing in my dreams but I could feel my blanket and one of my legs was asleep, I ended up calming down and getting the dream to continue after that though.
