Thread: Wildest LD I've had thus far...

I'm shooting at people across a large area and get nervous that I might actually hurt or kill someone. I find a friend that I grew up with (whom I haven't seen in 10+ years) and decide I would rather play catch. We go inside to get a ball and when we come back out I realize this is a dream. Suddenly the environment starts to get shaky and I remember reading a tip on staring back and forth between your hands and the environment. The dream begins to stabilize, although when I stare at my hands they are almost worm like and not steady.

I look out and see a basketball court. I decide I'm going to dunk on the rim without actually jumping. I stand below the rim, move my arm up, but don't go anywhere. Frustrated, I lay down and reach for the rim again, but don't actually go anywhere. I get back on my feet and yell to the sky "Why can't I move freely?!" The next thing I know, multiple massive sized basketball nets are coming towards me in the sky with what appears to be some sort of alternate dimension inside of the net. They settle on the side of the street as if they were light posts. I decide to jump into the net as if I'm Mario.

I'm taken to some type apartment complex that I'm not familiar with. I begin to walk around and I see a creature that looks like the Grinch dressed up as Santa Claus. I walk up to the creature and it immediately runs into the apartment building. I tried following him but he jumped through the wall in the bathroom. Instead of immediately jumping in I slowly walked through the wall, only to end up in what appeared to be the same bathroom. I try this again and the result is the same. I then wake up.
