Last night I had my second lucid dream in two nights. For me, quite an accomplishment. Even more impressive (for me, at least) was that I entered lucidity by way of a method I'd given up on: namely through the use of a dream sign.
For quite some time a childhood friend of mine has been showing up in my dreams. Lately, since I've become aware of lucid dreaming, it's been frustrating as hell because he continues to show up yet I haven't been able to recognize the impossibility of such a thing. However, last night he showed up again, as if to taunt me, and this time the tables turned. He and I were chatting in some seedy looking bar when it occurred to me that something was wrong. And I blurted out, "What are you doing here?" really emphatically. And I realized I was dreaming.
It turned into my longest ever lucid dream; I was able to stay lucid without any attention on staying lucid. So mainly I just flew around, up, down, and through the walls of buildings. I especially enjoy flying through solid objects.
It would appear that I'm on a roll. Let's see what tonight brings.
