The hard work is finally paying off!

I'm so shocked at how many lucids I've started having and I had to share with everyone. After years of LDing on and off and not getting further than one or two fuzzy lucids every few months I have now had 5 lucids since Tuesday. They weren't all clear and had many False Awakenings but every one is getting longer and better and I'm mastering stabilization techniques and managing to create an amazing dream from the fuzzy black I usually see.

I just cant believe it. I usually don't even have 5 Lucids in a year let alone 5 in a week

I assumed that 9 years after hearing about LDs and not even getting close to having them frequently I was a natural non-lucid dreamer but I'm so glad I didn't give up. This just shows that with enough hard work anyone can LD. I can't wait for my next lucid

      Congratulations! This is awesome.
You may say I'm a dreamer.

Nice. What do you think made the difference?

My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

I think it's mostly because my work hours have changed. I used to be up at 6.30 every morning but can now sleep in later most days. But I still wake up when my wife goes to work so it's like WBTB every morning. Also I finally have a steady sleep pattern so am getting a lot more sleep/more regular sleep which is something I never used to have.

Also I've just had constant effort this past few months. RCing every day and keeping a steady dream journal. I used to spend a lot of effort flicking from one technique to another trying to find one that worked but I've found that just RCs and DJs alongside lots of sleep and WBTB seems to really do the trick. Last night I knew I'd get lucid this morning and I did!! I'm hoping for a repeat tomorrow morning!
