Thread: First Lucid Dream

Hey there, and welcome! (again )

Congrats on the lucid dream! This shows that your mind was able to grasp the concept quickly. I'm guessing that because you had just found DV, the subject of lucid dreaming was fresh in your mind, and this enabled you to become lucid without any real effort. I believe this indicates that you have a great potential ability for lucid dreaming, and I'll bet it's not long before you find yourself having longer, more vivid lucid dreams, and controlling your dream environment.

I had my first lucid experience last night, and thing is - I wasn't even trying. I wasn't thinking about lucid dreams, or preparing for them or anything - I just went to bed like normal, and at one point in the night I remember realizing I was dreaming. I wasn't able to control it, and it lasted about 10 minutes before I got excited and woke up

But nevertheless it's a first, and I'm hoping it signifies some progress

pretty good time for a first lucid dream most people wake up after they relized it was a dream
