      Weird dream.

Hi! So tonight I was about to sleep, and like always I started thinking about what I wanted to dream, and saying to myself that I'd knew that I was dreaming and all that stuff. So I fell asleep and I had two dreams, nothing strange, but I started sleeping again and when i woke up I realized a weird thing.

[Short-version of the dream]: I was coming back from beach with a friend, going to take the bus to go to my house. Before that I went to my friend's house to take some biscuits. I left her house and sitted to wait for the bus, but I lost it, so I went again to my friend's house. She opened the door with a strange face and showed me a letter from another girl. After that she asked me if we were sleeping, and I told her that we were not sleeping, 'cause if we're sleeping we would know it just thinking about that in a dream.

After that I woke up and realized that my friend, inside my dream and my head, had a lucid dream, but not me. Has anyone had an experience like this?

Yup! I have had that experience, and so have others here as well. Since your friend is actually a dream character of yours, made by your own mind, that means that a subconscious part of your knew you were dreaming, either that or lucid dreaming is so much on your mind that it is the subject matter of your dreams. Either way, this is a very good sign that you are very close to becoming lucid - I suspect you will be lucid soon.

The weirdest dream like that that I had was many years ago when I dreamed that a friend of mine in my dream insisted that he was dreaming, and I started lecturing him about lucid dreaming, and telling him what he should do now that he was lucid. When I woke up I shook my head at myself.
You may say I'm a dreamer.

Well, I hope I have one soon! It's not weird until you wake up, awesome.

Oh yea I often dream about things that are somehow related to LDs and however I still don't cross that border where I question my surroundings.
On one hand that's good because if we dream about LDs that shows us that we are thinking about it (quite a lot), but on the other hand it shows us that we still need to work on our awareness and incution techniques as to actually notice that we are dreaming while it's still hapennening

I've never experienced anything like this personally, but sometimes DCs act based upon your own subconscious thoughts. There's every chance your thoughts about lucid dreaming in the waking world spilled across into your dream
