I Think I Had My First Lucid Dream Last Night

Last night I was dreaming and I remember I was laying in my bed.But the weird thing was that the room I was in was unrecognizable. So I pushed my finger through the palm of my hand and it went through!

I then got a little excited, but then I remembered not to get too excited because I would probably wake up.I can't remember what else happened next because I didn't write it down.I have my doubts because my dream wasn't so vivid.Maybe it was a semi-lucid dream?

Semilucid is not related to vividness. You can have a lucid dream with low vividness, and vice versa.

      Good job having a lucid!

You can say things like 'Clarity' or 'Increase vividness' while dreaming.

Mantras before bed work well too.

Congrats on your first lucid…make sure to write it down as soon as you can next time so it doesn't fade from your memory. I forget almost all my dreams if I don't write them down immediately (actually I use a voice recorder on my phone…its faster and lets me get back to sleeping sooner).
