Thread: First Actual Lucid Dream

I haven't been on here in a while but I've been trying to have a DILD/MILD for literally five years with no success until about a month ago. I'd had a couple brief moments of realization but I wouldn't consider them worthy of being called true lucidity. I'll keep it shortish if I can. I was in a sunken living room with my girlfriend and her family just talking and stuff and for no reason except habit I looked at my left hand. My fingers were short and fat a the top and they wiggled in an ethereal kinda way. What really did it was the two little thumbs sprouting from the top of my "normal" thumb. I started freaking out and everyone disappeared. I kind of didn't believe it so I started running up the stairs and as I did I looked at my hand again. Still pretty screwed up looking. There was an office chair spinning counterclockwise in front of me so I tried to conjour up my girlfriend so we could talk about our feelings . We're not gonna have sex until we're married so honestly thats been a big motivation. That didn't work but I knew I was in a dream. Not sure how but I ended up on a bike so I crashed it just cause I could and stuff. It was really long but it stuck with me. Funny how they're easier to remember when you're lucid. It was awesome. Please share your first ones if you had a hard time getting the first one under your belt like I did. I haven't had one since but I'm trying.
