If you knew you were dreaming, you were having a lucid dream. Pain is normally not associated with it. I'm sorry, but I can't help you figuring out, what it was. Perhaps pain was not related? Good luck to you.

How is your usual life style when awake then? One's thinking habbits could most probably play an important role in why you get headache. Since one's mind working in the order of: Thought becomes feeling, and feeling becomes reaction/action. A common example is people who have a lot of stuff on their minds, and this will casuse them headache as we all know. But if you are becoming aware in your dreams. Then your logic could come in to play while your brain might need to recover it self from thinking. This is just speculating on how things might work. But I wounder if you got many things on your mind or many worries etc etc?

Hello Thank you for the answer.

I do not work at night but I have to answer all the office calls at any time.
Because of that I am usually awaken once or twice at night.
Sometimes I have to work all the night from home.

Last 3 days I go to sleep earlier and did not experienced it.

      P.S.
I am also paralysed when I have a Headache. Unable to speech cant even lift a finger. Ofcourse It is annoying but headache is very much painful.

Hello! You're welcome Nikag. Im not really suprised that you have started to realize that you are dreaming, when you tell me about your working habbits. I get the impression that your mind has learned to being alert at any time on whats comming. So this is probably get you in to a very light sleep, or less deep sleep. And this will most probably make you less rested after a nights sleep. Headache is not really a bad thing since it is a alarm signal that something isn't working right and that one need to do some change. In many cases it could be as I said before, that one need to let go of a lot of thoghts to give the mind a break. But in your case, I would definitley guess that you need to let yourself get some undisturbed sleep during the nights.

One's mind do follow the inteintions one give them if the intentions is backed up with a enough strong feeling behind it. And for people who cant sleep because they have to much on their mind do also have very strong emotion behind their thoughts or worries, wich make the mind to keep working on the problems wide awake since the emotion tells the mind that these thoughts or worries are very important indeed. Of course everyone will sleep eventually, but it will probably only go to sleep when the mind has worked close enough to it's peak of performance. Sorry if I go to much outside you problem with this.. I did get feeling

So back to your situation now. Since your priority for you jobb is very high indeed (not saying that you shouldnt). Then will your intention back up this feeling of importance for you job at such a high level that it will be integrated in your sleeping habbits as well. So your mind will probably not recover enough since your alertness level will be at a higher level and bring you to enough realization to be knowing that you are dreaming. Just for importance, I will mention it again that headache is a usual sign that the mind might need some rest to recover.

Do you mind if I may ask you what you are working with? I seems like you keeping a very high standard at your job. But one might need to be a robot to pull it off in the long run.

Your welcome It was for sure an intersting problem to participate in, and Im glad that you feel that you found my thought helpful for you. I was hoping that you would be able to take some time off, because your current job situation seems to me, to be extreamly stressful to handle. Well I wish you many good nights and hope you will manage to get rid of that nasty headache eventually. Good Luck to you Nikag!

I could try too. Im not sure though, if I understand your problem right now. But you have started to get lucid dreams? So you know you're aware that this is a dream in the dream itself??
