Thread: It happened! If only for a minute..

Even though I didn't really do anything I'm glad that I am finally seeing results!

I had a horrible night sleep..And indeed the same could be said for the morning.. I kept waking up. . Still being tired I let myself drift back to sleep.. I had various dreams from doing this.. Some of them quite weird. . But the last dream was of the most interest... I did a reality check! Sticking a finger through my palm.. it didn't work.. no worries though.. I performed another reality check! I pinched my nose and began to try and breath.. at first I couldn't .. but something didn't feel right so I did It again.. This time I felt myself able to breathe.. I was shocked! Still with my eyes closed I took a few seconds to try contain myself from fear of waking up. .

I then opened my eyes.. it was very, very dark.. I couldn't see much. . Other than I knew it was my room.. For some strange reason when I first stood up I felt unsteady on my feet.. slightly dizzy..

Also I'm the corner of my eye (Plus a bit more) I could see a constant red.. which was really annoying .. anyway I tried to ignore that and made my way to my bedroom door..I wanted to try out changing the scenery. And said that I when I opened the door I would see a swimming pool, (first thing that came to mind) I don't think I said it with enough conviction however as when I opened my door and stepped out all I could see was a blinding bright light.. it didn't seem artificial.. more light the yellowy rays of the sun..

I performed another reality check (breathing with nose pinched) and rubbed my hands together to stabilize the dream.. everything felt so real.. and the part of the house I was in was accurate to real life .. I walked towards another bedroom.. I awoke.. throughout this whole dream I could see the red thing in my right eye.. it turns out that eye was directly facing the red pillow.. Maybe my eye was a little open or something ?

Congratulations. Lasted longer than I did on my first lucid. And yeah, your eye was probably open. I've had it where one eye was open and then other wasn't. Very weird effect.
