Finally!!!!

Well guys...I'm a man now...I finally did it! I had a Lucid Dream for the first time =] Okay so this is how it happened, I started off the night by doing awareness technique from this Astral Dynamics book because i've been trying to have OBEs lately instead of LDs because I pretty much just gave up on LDs. Well anyways I do these techniques to become totally aware of my body and then I just fall asleep. Then all of a sudden im walking down this endless road in the middle of this vast field/grasslands and I just realize that.....IM DREAMING!!!!! Once I realized that I was dreaming I totally forgot to do reality checks because I havent been practicing LDs for a while, so I just kept saying "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming' I'm dreaming" and I started to run down the road. The whole time I was saying that I was thinking...shouldn't my dreams be alot more vivid now?? Although it wasnt as vivid as I imagined it to be I tried to do stuff in my dream like make a new road appear, but nothing would happen. =/ After I tried making the road I guess I got to excited or something because I woke up. After waking up I didnt even realize what I just accomplished...it was weird. I didnt realize what I did until I was getting dressed for the day and then it just hit me. Anyways that was my first LD and hopefully not the last. Thanks for reading!
