I haven't tried that, but an idea, I did this with a climbing mt. everest experience. Made a book, it was about climbing the Mt., opened it up, first page was a picture(moving) of a group climbing up. I hopped into the picture and joined in. It was fun, but I was tired at the top, and made a slide for the trip down. lol.

Maybe something like that might work, or accessing the game and hopping in for first hand experience. I think it would be quite a sight.

Eh I meant commanding a army that's pre 1940 what does climbing a mountain have to do with that? XD

I've always wanted to try and lucid dream of me leading a huge, medieval-styled battle. You know, think Narnia, BraveHart, ect. I'm on a white horse, running down the lines of my army, all armed to the teeth, giving a movie worthy inspiration speech. The enemy will be my subconscious, and it will be depicted by the enemy general. I feel that the fighting may wake me up, so I always envisioned myself just fast forwarding to me having already defeated my subconscious's army, and then as I stand over it, I demand that it gives me more control to lucid dream and control over my mind. Idk

I've never personally tried something like commanding a Napoleonic army on the battlefield, but I could see how it would be most interesting, probably fun, and doable.

I think that if you establish each of the various units (infantry brigades, cavalry, artillary, etc) as individual DC's, you could probably sit on a hill above the fray and successfully manipulate your army to victory. If you take Therome's suggestion and allow your dreaming mind to manipulate the enemy ranks, you might be in for a real adventure, if not a humbling one!

[p.s.: I didn't watch the video, so I hope this post has something to do with what you're talking about!]

Why didn't you watch the video out of curiosity? It pretty much explained the post(and yes your post did have something to do with it just not 100%)

^^ In all honesty, I don't remember; I think it was just inconvenient at the time. However, I did watch it now, and see that I might have missed your point by not watching.

That game looks more like a participatory game (i.e., you are a soldier in the thick of the fight) than one of high strategy (i.e., you take on Napoleon's job of commanding the troops), so what I said didn't make a lot of sense. Sorry!

It's actually this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnGL9HnI-vw although instead of it being in the air I wanna be Napoleon and lead my troops into the battle by charging victoriously on horseback into British ranks

^^ Oh, well then I wasn't too far off the mark after all; that second video was what I was picturing when I did my first post.

Regardless, though, it sounds like you have a good plan, and I wish you luck in making it happen... but don't be surprised if, come dreamtime, the battle doesn't go quite the way you or Napolean intended; the unconscious has plenty of tricks that the Brits might not have thought of!
