      First Time

I started viewing this website about 2 months ago eager to have a lucid dream. I tired doing reality checks but its so hard to keep it up. I thought I would do great since i always remember my dreams even from years past. 1 month ago I had my first lucid dream. I was fighting my lttle cousin after he shot my little sister. I love them both and don't have any hatred towards him. He was kicking my ass and then all of a sudden I said " Hey this is a dream." I made myself have a gigantic arm and knocked him out. I then sucked the bullets out of her. The dream then faded. This was pretty violent.

I have been having trouble becoming lucid again. I don't do reality checks since they are too hard to continue. I have tried the Wake back to bed technique but keep failing at either waking up or putting the right time in. I only do ot over the weekend since i have school and I don't get enough sleep as it is.

I am going to continue trying the Wake back to bed technique. Does anyone have any tips or other techniques suitable for me.
      Thanks

I've found that one of the most important factors in LDing is being relaxed. Avoid stress in your day, and when you go to sleep, get nice and relaxed. Let all the tension out of your muscles, and don't let any thoughts bother you. Stressfull thoughts are a problem, but so is anything that gets your mind going too much. Focus on something simple, like the rythm of your breathing.

Other than that, find what works for you. There are all sorts of induction techniques out there, and different ones will work for different people. My favorites so far MILD and WILD, and those are usually a sure bet.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.
